My Story…
I have had migraine disease since I was 10. Even though migraine marred every holiday & vacation, detracted from work energy, & contributed to co-occurring conditions, I was determined to be strong, a skilled, caring psychologist, and meet my family's needs.
It wasn't my best choice to try to prove I was hardy, capable, & not disabled by migraine. Resilience and empowerment have come from learning that it's important to rest, tune into my own rhythm, and encourage others with headache disorders to foster their own well-being.
Headache on the Hill is a vital program that results in better education and awareness, research, and legislation. We appreciate your interest!
